Child Safeguarding Commitment

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At Sophie's Photography, the safety and well-being of children is our top priority. We are dedicated to providing a secure environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

To ensure their safety, all of our staff members undergo comprehensive background checks, including enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certifications. This process helps us confirm that our team is fully qualified to work with children and committed to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding. We also collaborate closely with event organizers to make sure that all children and vulnerable adults are protected.

When children visit our studio, we require that they are accompanied by an adult at all times. This policy is in place to further enhance their safety and comfort during their visit.

For your privacy and security, all of our galleries require a valid sign-in to access the images. We store images for a maximum of one year after an event, unless otherwise specified on the gallery. After this time, the images are removed to ensure that your data remains secure.

We only collect information from parents in order to fulfill their orders. This information is securely stored and deleted after three months to protect your privacy and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Additionally, we are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), reflecting our commitment to protecting personal data and ensuring confidentiality.
